PTA provides every Fairlands classroom teacher with $50 for each student in their class for purchases that support their students throughout the school year. These donations reduce personal expenses for our children's teachers. (Thanks to last year's generous donations, we were able to reimburse our teachers for nearly $35,000!)
Teachers use these funds for the school year to purchase items for their class such as:
- Pencils, folders, pens, crayons, glue sticks, paper, markers, scissors, rulers, erasers, stickers, incentives, binders
- Classroom items, hand sanitizer, tissues, books, organizer bins
- Online educational program subscriptions
- Lesson plan templates, printables
With class fund donations, there are no supply lists for back-to-school shopping! All students in each class will receive the necessary supplies and have the same items.
